Privacy Policy
DCI Forge is operated by KLeo Forge LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information we collect when you visit dciforge.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Information we collect
We do not require an account, and we do not ask you to submit personal information to read the site. We collect:
- Usage data. When you request a page, our server records the page path, the time of the request, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring URL. This is used to understand which pages are read and to diagnose errors.
- Analytics data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track visitors across sites. It reports aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, and general country-level location.
- Advertising data. Our advertising partners may collect information through cookies and similar technologies, as described below.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we keep that message and your address so we can reply.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a site or its partners store in your browser. DCI Forge does not set cookies for its own analytics. Cookies on this site come from our advertising partners, and you can control them through your browser settings or the opt-out links below. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from reading any part of the site.
Google AdSense and third-party advertising
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
- Third-party ad networks other than Google may also serve ads on this site and may set their own cookies. We do not control those cookies. Their use of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
- For more on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see Google's partner sites policy.
How we use information
We use the information described above only to:
- operate, maintain, and secure the site;
- understand which content is read so we can decide what to write next;
- diagnose errors and prevent abuse; and
- display advertising that supports the cost of running the site.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named in this policy or where required by law.
Data retention
Server usage logs are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is aggregate and retained according to Cloudflare's own schedule. Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to handle the matter it concerns. Data held by advertising partners is retained under their policies, not ours.
Your rights in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request its correction or erasure, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Our lawful basis for processing usage data is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site; for personalized advertising, the lawful basis is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the opt-out links above or your browser settings.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Your rights in California (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to request deletion of that information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising in exchange for money. Advertising partners may nonetheless collect information through cookies in a way that certain laws treat as a "sale" or "share"; you can opt out of that collection using the advertising opt-out links above. To make any other request, email [email protected]. We will verify your request by replying to the address you write from.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Data security
The site is served over HTTPS. We keep the small amount of data we hold on access-controlled infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
