Semifinals night in Indianapolis. Blue Stars finished ahead of Phantom Regiment while losing the six craft captions; Boston Crusaders beat Santa Clara Vanguard after the effect sheets came back a coin flip. At Innovations In Brass in Akron, Ohio, Bluecoats posted a new season high of 97.45, walking past their own record-tying Allentown number, with Blue Devils at 96.15 and Carolina Crown at 96.05 a fraction behind. Three corps cleared 96 on the same night, the first time the season has seen it. Two hundred miles south at DCI Kentucky in Lexington, Phantom Regiment kicked to 93.725, the Cavaliers cleared 93 for the first time this season, and Blue Stars held third.
